For the final piece in the series, unless we hear the clamour of a thousand voices begging us to continue, we return to a personal story, which is also attribute both to the greatest game of Rugby ever in any code, and to my elder brother Harry, who features in the story and who died in December 2019.
And the whole iwitnesshistory series is dedicated to the memory of Matt Marks whose incredibly diverse, plangent and vision-conjuring music has run like a heartstring through all of these stories.
