Ferdinand was the teenage son of Christopher Columbus and went with him on his Fourth Voyage to the Indies.

Shipwrecked by a storm on the island of Xay-macca. Jamaica as we now call it.

The local Arawak tribe befriend them at first- and young Ferdinand exchanges glances with a teenage girl of the tribe.

But after a year of bad behaviour from the crew the tribe lose patience. Armed to the teeth, they say the crew should go to the sea, or the jungle. Which means certain death.

The Spaniards are out of shot and powder for their weapons. How can they escape?
